IOS 6 has a lot of new features but one of the best reasons to upgrade your device would be for Apples new 3D Maps. This new feature will be integrated in the Maps app and will feature high res models of 27 cities and still growing. Unfortunately the IOS 6 beta does require an Apple developers account and only very few have one. Thankfully, I've found an alternative with almost the same concept.
UpNext HD Maps is the best alternative to IOS 6 3d maps. Google earth 3d building only has very few cities and most of them are low res. UpNext has the highest quality models for any building in major cities. UpNext also features a complete navigation system with turn by turn driving. You can tap on any building to get info about it. Everything is very detailed and runs smoothly while loading fast.
The cities featured in this app are, Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Honolulu, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Paul, Washington DC.
