Woman gives weed to her 13 year old terminally ill son - "He was happy and got a little bit of joy in his life, whats wrong with that?"

In Green point New York, the mother of a terminally ill child has been giving her the boy hits of marijuana from a bong. She was arrested on Friday with a little over 1 pound of kush. The boy was taken into child care. The mother is awaiting trial. When we went to interview her and get her side on things, she said, "He was happy and got a little bit of joy in his life, whats wrong with that?".

The 38 year old mother was noticing how her son was always depressed and was rarely ever happy. She wanted to give her son some happiness by giving her weed. This is understandable to me, if the boy was cured from his depression and ended up in a good mood, no harm is done, he wasn't addicted to any drug it was, chances are the boy will go in depression again without his mother by his side. I think it was wrong to arrest that mother. What do you guys think?
