Millionaire builds life size model of Noah's Ark

A dutch millionaire named Johan Huibers was always fascinated by the story of Noah's Ark. in 2010 Johan decided it was time to stop dreaming having an ark and start making it a reality. Johan hired roughly 60 workers to help build the ark and took over 15 months.

The ark was built in the Merwede River close to Johan's 48 million dollar mansion. The ark is 150 meters long and is about 100 feet tall. The interior decor is in the luxury category, with all features a cruise ship would have. The ark is fully about to sail and will include a full control deck inside. On the inside everything is modern.
